Workforce West Virginia
WorkForce West Virginia is a state agency funded through the U.S. Department of Labor that oversees the state unemployment insurance program, as well as a network of workforce development services to help West Virginia's citizens and employers compete in today’s economy. The following services are offered to job seekers at no charge:
- Career assessment and guidance
- Access to training and education programs
- Learn about job fairs and workshops
- Information on the job market
- Assistance with searching for jobs
- Resume and cover letter preparation
- Practice interviewing for jobs
- Free computer and Internet access
WorkForce WV offers one-on-one assistance through their local offices and refers job seekers to employers, workshops, training and educational opportunities, community services, and other available resources, such as the Division of Rehabilitation Services. (more…)
